Quarterly Inspection & Maintenance Checklist
As part of your Handyman Club membership, we conduct a quarterly inspection and perform essential maintenance tasks to help protect your home and give you peace of mind.
Kitchen & Bathroom
• Inspect toilets for leaks and check/adjust for proper operation
• Inspect sinks for leaks and proper operation
• Inspect faucets for leaks and proper operation
• Clean and inspect disposals for leaks and proper operation
• Clean dishwasher filters and run a cleaning solution
• Replace refrigerator water and air filters (provided) (bi-annually)
• Inspect caulking around tubs, showers, counters, vanities, and sinks
• Inspect any missing grout in showers
• Inspect shower doors for proper operation
• Check bath vent fans for proper operation
Mechanical
• Inspect and test GFCI outlets
• Inspect Smoke & CO Detectors for batteries and proper operation
• Check & replace (provided) light bulbs
• Replace HVAC filters (provided)
• Inspect sump pumps for proper operation
Exterior
• Inspect all stair railings for proper operation and safety
• Inspect all walkways & paths on sides of home for clear operation
• Inspect all gates for proper operation
• Inspect the foundation for settling cracks & possible leaks
• Turn on and off hose bibs (bi-annually)
Interior
• Inspect all doors, tracks, hinges, and hardware
• Inspect all windows & screens for proper operation
• Inspect drywall for settling cracks and holes
• Clean washing machine filter (bi-annually)
• Clean dryer vent (up to 15’) (annually)
• Flush water heater (tank type) (annually)
